Commissioner Natalia Macker and Chair Mark Newcomb voted in favor of approving the change order; Commissioners Wes Gardner, Len Carlman and Luther Propst voted against it, and the motion failed on a roll-call vote. The minutes do not record a motion to table or amend the proposal; commissioners moved on to other agenda items after the failed vote.
Because the motion failed, no additional funds were authorized for that change at this meeting. Any future action to approve the snow-melt work would require the makers of a new motion and a majority vote at a subsequent meeting.
