Board confirms committee assignments and temporarily fills Fair Board seats

Buffalo County supervisors voted to confirm committee assignments and to temporarily appoint two members to the Fair Board on May 18.
Supervisor Ruff moved to approve the current committee roster and to assign Mr. Steve Nelson and Mr. Stanton to the Fair Board until the Committee of the Board meets to consider amendments to the Rules of Government for appointing Fair Board members; the motion was seconded by Mr. Bruegger and carried.
The minutes note that Committee of the Board has authority to amend the Rules of Government to determine formal appointment procedures for the Fair Board; the temporary appointments will stand until that committee acts.
