Valentine recommended the district start a deliberate program evaluation: broad data collection, focus groups and a representative advisory committee that includes staff, families, students and community partners. Parents at the meeting praised the program for bilingualism, cultural identity and family engagement and requested specific metrics, including reclassification rates and transition‑year enrollment loss from elementary to middle school. Trustees responded that data requests will be compiled and that forming a Juntos advisory body is a next step.
