Andy Cole of 1420 Abattoir Rd praised the invocation and urged residents and officials to avoid letting frustration divide the community. Vikki Ingersoll announced Farmer's Day will "begin the next day at 5:00pm and would end at 5:00pm Saturday," adding that the event would occur "rain or shine." Gale Spears said she had questions about the town's right-of-way policy and would speak further to the board soon. Donna Denning urged commissioners to lead by example and be careful how they address others, referring to comments at the prior month's meeting. Beth Holak noted the Chamber of Commerce Arts & Crafts & Culinary Competition had been canceled this year and expressed hope it would return next year.
