The Board of Ottawa County Commissioners voted unanimously May 7 to allocate Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fiscal Year 2026 funds to two community projects. Commissioner Donald A. Douglas moved the allocations, and Commissioner Mark E. Coppeler seconded; Commissioners Mark W. Stahl, Donald A. Douglas and Mark E. Coppeler each voted yes.
The awards designate $49,500 to the Senior Resources 60 Plus Clinic and $90,000 to Veterans Services to purchase a wheelchair-accessible van. The allocations were approved after the Board reviewed submitted projects and were described in the motion as being awarded “as requested.” These actions were recorded in the official minutes and carried by a unanimous 3–0 vote.
