Committee endorses Newsela and Learning Technology Center renewals on Board agenda

Staff also recommended renewing the Learning Technology Center contract for 2026–27 at $20,400. The Learning Technology Center provides an instructional coach and the position is funded 100% by the district's Title II grant, making the renewal cost consistent with the current year, staff said. Both renewals appear on the Board agenda for consideration.
"Due to strong classroom engagement over the initial agreement, a 3-year renewal is recommended at a cost of $37,324.80," staff said, and added the Learning Technology Center renewal is "consistent with the current year" at $20,400.
