Sean Huffstutler told the Joint Building & Grounds/Finance Committee the buildings and grounds department is exploring replacement options for a 2006 Ford truck and is targeting a new 3/4-ton dump truck for landscaping, hauling and snow removal. Current pricing is estimated between $75,000 and $85,000; Huffstutler said staff will seek formal Board approval once a vehicle that meets needs and pricing is identified.
"Once a vehicle is identified that meets the department needs and pricing is appropriate, Board approval will be sought," Huffstutler said. The committee did not take a vote; staff indicated the purchase will be brought to a future Board agenda after vendor selection and final pricing.
