District staff presented updates in PRESS Issue 120 and a conduct option for Policy 2:80 (board member oath and censure). The Policy & Personnel Committee recommended both items be placed on the Jan. 21, 2026 Board agenda for approval.
The Hononegah Community High School District 207 Policy & Personnel Committee reviewed PRESS Issue 120 on Jan. 13, 2026 and recommended the Board place the updated PRESS packet on the Jan. 21, 2026 agenda for approval. Michael Dugan presented the packet and summarized the updates and changes included in PRESS Issue 120.
During discussion the Committee also considered Policy 2:80 options from PRESS Issue 119 concerning the board member oath and procedures for censuring board members. The Committee recommended the conduct option be approved and brought to the Jan. 21, 2026 Board meeting for consideration. No formal vote was recorded in the meeting minutes; the recommendation is for placement on the upcoming board agenda.
