Holiday Hills officials warn residents as Fox River rises; sandbags available from Nunda Roads

Director Dzialo told the board the Fox River has been rising and urged residents to prepare for localized flooding. "As of 4/13/2026, the Fox River level is at 5ft 5 inches and continuing to rise. As of 4/15/2026, the river has risen to 7 ft 2 inches," Dzialo reported, and he directed affected residents to call Nunda Roads for sandbag delivery.
Rob Parrish, introduced as Nunda Roads director, said sandbags will be delivered to affected residents and noted some paving bids for nearby Villa Vaupell where the village could be a subordinate on quotes. Chief Copp reiterated a community approach to assisting elderly residents with sandbagging and said residents should call neighbors for assistance.
No formal motions were taken; the board recorded the update, provided contact instructions, and introduced Rob Parrish for coordination and follow-up.
