President Giles reported that work on the village's sewer Phase 2B is substantially complete and that surface restoration should begin next month. "All sewer underground has been completed. Restoration should start in May," President Giles said, and he added that inspections and testing are underway.
Giles warned that the financing option provided by Northern Moraine is ending May 31, 2026, and that "residents have until 2038 to complete hookup to system." The report noted Trine is still working on an outstanding punch list from prior phases. A resident during public comment said contractor crews ran over newly repaired lawns; according to the transcript, the resident said Northern Moraine/Trine "ran over lawns close to the street," and the board said the issue will be brought to the contractor's attention.
The board received an accounting sheet for the Clerk Office reconstruction and the Village Hall network work; Giles said those budget portions are closed. The board did not take further formal action on additional compensation or remediation for lawn damage during the meeting.
