President J. Giles called the May 20 meeting to order and led a status update on post-flood cleanup, saying the village will not require a dumpster at this time and that porta-potties and trash cans placed after the flood are on a 30-day contract paid by the Village.
Giles also warned residents about sandbag pickup logistics: "All sandbags must be to roadside by June 1. That is the last day of pickup. Nunda will be charging us." The board said Nunda's collection will proceed under the Nunda intergovernmental agreement and encouraged residents to remove debris from private property themselves or resolve removal with neighbors.
