Chad Dougherty presented the MasteryPrep online ACT preparation and diagnostic tool, which the committee heard provides adaptive diagnostic assessments that estimate ACT score ranges and produce a skill inventory aligned with College and Career Readiness Standards. Committee members were told about an existing pilot with about 50 students using the tool.
Dougherty said formal implementation costs were estimated at $4,500 to cover Juniors only or $12,000 to expand access to Freshmen and Sophomores; he is awaiting finalized quotes before presenting a procurement request to the Board.
