Hononegah Community High School staff presented a proposal from Rock Valley College that would allow eligible seniors to spend their final semester on the RVC campus and earn dual credit toward their high school diploma and a specific career pathway, such as Pre-Health, Education, or Pre-Engineering.
Under the model discussed, participating families would be responsible for tuition and textbook costs. The district said it is considering offering the Senior Semester for the 2027–28 school year and would develop an application process for eligible students.
