At its meeting, the City of South Miami Design Review Board recorded unanimous approvals for three items on the consent/regular agenda.
1) Valencia South Miami Condominium (6001 SW 70th St) — Motion to approve the exterior paint scheme was moved by Vice Chair Javier Vaina and seconded by Board member Rebecca Cruz; roll call recorded votes of yes from Cruz, Zerrata, Vice Chair Vienna, Crowell and Chair Daniel Guerra.
2) 6752 SW 77th Terrace (PAP Life LLC) — A motion to approve the new construction design was moved, seconded and carried with all members present voting yes; staff conditions include tree removal application submittal.
3) 6221 SW 60th Street (MB6221 LLC) — The one‑story home application was approved following discussion about a required tree mitigation and technical coordination on roofing and the drain field; the motion was moved and seconded and passed unanimously.
All three items were discussed with applicants and staff in attendance; no members of the public registered comments for these agenda items in chambers or on Zoom. The board also approved the minutes from February 18 and scheduled the next meeting for April 15.
