Mary Lu Seidel, 203 Grove Ave., used the public comment period at the July 7, 2026 Fox River Grove Village Board meeting to raise three requests: that the Village provide a microphone for public comment, that the Board require the developer to commit to 170 parking stalls for a pending downtown project, and that the Village begin recording Board meetings.
"Mrs. Seidel stated she would like to have a microphone available for public comment," the minutes record. She also "commented that she has concerns regarding the site access and would also would like the Village Board to require the developer to commit to providing 170 parking stalls as part of the project." Finally, she "stated she would like to see the Village start recording Board meetings." The minutes do not show a direct response from Board members during the public comment entry.
Her requests are recorded in the minutes and may inform future Board discussion or staff follow-up; the minutes do not indicate whether staff committed to any immediate action.
