Allen County board adopts Prioritized Drain Classification List for 2026

The Allen County Drainage Board approved the Prioritized Drain Classification List for 2026 (Doc #26-113) after an ACSO presentation. The list is intended to align with Indiana Drainage Law and to set county priorities for drain classification and maintenance.
Emily Grabill presented the list alongside the Surveyor's long-range plan. Chair Therese Brown and Rich Beck expressed appreciation for staff work to bring the office into compliance with state code. Rich Beck moved to approve the list and Jim Orr seconded; the motion carried.
The prioritized list will be used by ACSO to schedule classification work and maintenance consistent with the long-range plan.
