The Allen County Drainage Board approved Doc #26-096 to allow QC Communications (City of Fort Wayne/contract contact Linde Baker) to install fiber optic cable beneath Zentsmaster Branch Drain using directional boring.
ACSO recommended approval and the board voted to grant the encroachment. The approval includes a minimum boring-depth requirement: the bore must be at least 5 feet below the lowest ditch grade or 3 feet below the tile, as stated in the petition notes. Rich Beck moved for approval and Jim Orr seconded; the motion carried on the floor.
The action permits the utility crossing to proceed subject to the depth and construction safeguards documented in the filing.
