Community Development staff presented changes to the Peaks site improvement plan and told the commission the applicant revised elevations and added a resident amenity after earlier conditions of approval.
Senior planner Lisa Rollinout summarized the revisions: stronger articulation on street‑facing and side elevations, adjusted color palettes, and architectural detailing intended to improve the street presence. She said the developer removed a proposed dog park adjacent to the sidewalk in favor of a resident‑oriented amenity area with a bench, shade structure and games, and that the overall amenity space is about 1,900 square feet.
Staff indicated the side elevations were realigned to create window symmetry and added features such as window bump‑outs and horizontal siding on rear elevations for consistency. The commission complimented the changes and staff said the revisions addressed the conditions set in the prior approval and improved the project's pedestrian‑facing design.
