The Bensenville Village Board approved 14 ordinances and resolutions on the consent agenda without individual discussion at its March 25 meeting.
Deputy Village Clerk read the items aloud, which included special use permits for motor vehicle repair and outdoor storage at industrial properties on Industrial Drive, a preliminary and final plat at 224 Marshall Road, the 2025 zoning map, and the president's appointment of Jose Ortiz to the Community Development Commission. Staff also read a four-year hydrant flow testing services agreement (not to exceed $69,457.07), a construction engineering services agreement for the 2025 residential streets improvement program (not to exceed $123,980.08), a construction contract for the 2025 residential street improvements project (not to exceed $1,046,117.66), and a change order increasing a well abandonment contract by $482,815.50 for a final amount of $965,589.50.
The consent package also included a resolution establishing guidelines for the 2025 Senior/Disabled Grass Cutting Program and contracts with several landscaping firms to provide the 2025 program services. A motion to approve the consent agenda was moved, seconded and approved by roll call (six yes).
