Staff says council/EDA favor restaurant or destination retail for old fire department site; inquiries ongoing

City staff told commissioners the old fire department building is still being used to store equipment but that there have been inquiries about redeveloping the site. The staff member said there have been several initial inquiries but no proposals have progressed beyond introductory conversations. Staff will continue to show the site to interested parties and relay inquiries to council and EDA as appropriate.
