City approves final Pictometry optional project and begins Nearmap subscription transition
Summary
The Board allowed the sixth optional Eagleview (Pictometry) imagery project for $48,988.90 and approved a three-year Nearmap subscription (Year 1 $45,487) to replace Eagleview and add parcel-comparison tools for the Assessor's Office.
Technology Services informed the Board that the City's Eagleview (Pictometry International) agreement included six optional projects; the Board approved the sixth and final optional project for $48,988.90, bringing the previously executed award to Pictometry to include all option projects. Purchasing Agent Charles J. Volpe said the original agreement was for one year with six optional projects and that optional projects 1–5 had already been awarded.
Separately, Technology Services presented a three-year subscription proposal from Nearmap to replace the Eagleview imagery system. The Nearmap proposal listed Year 1 at $45,487.00, Year 2 at $47,761.35 and Year 3 at $50,149.43 and would include software functionality to let the Assessor's Office conduct year-to-year parcel comparisons. F. Gentile moved to award the Nearmap subscription per the vendor's GSA contract, contingent on execution of an acceptable agreement; D. Garrick seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
