The Board of Awards unanimously approved a proposal from Veolia Water to perform bar rack replacement at the Water Pollution Control Plant for $52,921.00. Purchasing Agent Charles J. Volpe presented Veolia's March 25, 2026 proposal and said the work was proposed under Veolia's operating agreement with the City of Danbury for the wastewater treatment plant.
Assistant Superintendent of Public Utilities K. Higgins moved to award the work to Veolia Water; Director of Finance D. Garrick seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. The minutes record that the award is made contingent on execution of required contract paperwork per the operating agreement.
