Tammi Cox, County Clerk, briefed the commission on liability insurance options after the board asked her to look into the Davidson Group. Cox said she has worked with Davidson previously and that moving forward with Davidson would require the commission to adopt a resolution and send a letter to the current KCAMP pool. She said she would research other counties’ experiences with switching and whether a return to KCAMP would be permitted if the county later decided to reverse course.
No formal resolution or vote on insurance was taken at the June 2 meeting; Cox presented the information so the board could consider next steps. "She stated she has worked with them and to continue the Commission would need to sign a resolution and a letter to the current KCAMP pool insurance in order to consider possibly changing insurance," the minutes record.
