Davis Community Center to raise membership fees, offers CPR class and events

Davis Community Center Director Nacy Bandemer told the council the center will host Coffee and Community with Timber Lake Playhouse, has moved Trivia Night to March 7, and is scheduling a CPR training class for Feb. 19, 2026 ($10 for instruction, $40 with the paper certificate). The center will hold indoor soccer camp and a Sweetheart Market on Feb. 7 and is exploring Bingo nights with the Mount Carroll Rotary.
Bandemer said it has been two years since the center opened and membership fees must rise to cover higher utilities and insurance; "the increase will be $2.00 for youth and $6.00 for family," she told the council. The fee changes will take effect March 1, 2026.
