Davis Community Center lists fall events, Trivia Night draws 14 teams

Director Nancy Bandemer briefed the council on upcoming Davis Community Center activities, saying the center has 14 teams signed up for Trivia Night and numerous donated raffle baskets and a silent auction. Bandemer said doors open at 5:00 p.m. and that "it is a BYOB," and listed other October offerings including a Blood Drive on Oct. 3 and a volleyball tournament on Oct. 4.
Bandemer also noted a donated refrigerator for the concession room and that a member welded a rack to hold weights. The center will host the Community Halloween parade and a free kids’ meal on Halloween night; the council later approved spending up to $450 to purchase items for those meals.
