Committee approves assisted outpatient-treatment support, harm-reduction grant acceptance and new billing position

The Cayuga County Health & Human Services Committee on April 8 approved three mental-health resolutions related to treatment support, harm reduction and staffing.
Members voted to authorize an agreement between the Cayuga County Community Mental Health Center and Coordinated Care Services, Inc. for technical assistance related to Assisted Outpatient Treatment and an expanded voluntary agreement program (resolution 4-26-HH-12). The committee also voted to authorize the Chair and the Director of Community Services to accept a New York State Department of Health grant to expand harm reduction services (4-26-HH-13) and to fill a Coding and Billing Specialist position at the Cayuga County Mental Health Department (4-26-HH-14). Motions were recorded as moved by Ben Vitale or Elane Daly, seconded by Tom Winslow, and noted as "all in favor."
