Board acknowledges retirements and resignations; approves student-council co-sponsors

During routine business, the board accepted the intent to retire of Kathy Weiss, junior-high social studies teacher, effective in fiscal year 2028, and acknowledged resignations from Amanda Higginson (bus monitor) and Megan Mahoney (student-council sponsor). Each item was moved, seconded and carried by roll call.
The board also approved employment of Becky Calamino, Emily Hochastra and Myrna Mueller as high-school student-council co-sponsors. The board scheduled a personnel/finance committee meeting for Sept. 22 at 4:30 p.m. to address further personnel and finance details.
