The Mount Carroll City Council voted to authorize payment of 33 accounts payable totaling $139,202.87. Alderman Jeff Elliott moved the payment authorization and Alderman Paul Kaczmarski seconded; the roll-call vote was recorded as six yeses and zero nos.
The council also approved a Finance Committee recommendation to renew a Treasury note maturing Nov. 28, 2025, opting for a three-year term at a 3.25% rate after receiving rate and term information from Shannon First State Bank. Chairman Paul Kaczmarski presented the committee recommendation and the motion carried on a 6–0 vote.
