Niles council approves a series of equipment and supply purchases for utilities and public works

In utilities procurement, the council accepted a $45,960.00 bid for a 2500 KVA pad mount transformer from T&R Electric Supply Co.; a $59,500.00 bid for a spare primary transformer from ECB Solutions, LLC for Corewell Health Lakeland Niles Hospital; and a $141,072.00 bid for a spare primary voltage regulator from Power Line Supply. The council also approved purchase of two 4-inch OMNI+ T2 water meters from ETNA for $6,500.00 and a sole-source replacement cylinder from ALTA Equipment Company for $3,121.97. All motions were approved by roll call as recorded in the minutes.
