Niles council enacts ordinances extending adult-use and medical retail hours to midnight

At its Sept. 8 meeting the Niles City Council adopted two separate ordinances changing permitted retail hours for cannabis sales.
Ordinance #517 amends City of Niles Code number 513, Section 53-534(j)(4)b1 to allow retail adult use transactions between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m.; Ordinance #518 amends Code number 514, Section 54-514a(2) to allow medical retail transactions between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. Both items were approved on second reading by roll call votes and recorded as enacted in the minutes.
