- Vouchers and a wire transfer totaling $5,152,734.48 were approved after line-item questions and discussion. (Clerk/auditor presented check/wire numbers and staff answered questions about painting invoices and contracting.) - Grants and contracts: the court authorized acceptance of a TIDC award for indigent defense, authorized a $200,000 first-responder mental-health grant from the Office of the Governor, renewed the victim-notification agreement with the Office of the Attorney General, and ratified an addendum with Texas Specialty Hospital regarding inmate specialty care. - Purchases and renewals: LexisNexis law-library subscription renewed at $1,643/month, a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado purchase for $49,353.25 was approved, two JD tractors and rotary cutters were authorized for $148,989.34, and Crossroads Technologies elevator dialers and monitoring were approved ($3,380 one-time and $350/month monitoring). The Axon five-year camera/taser contract was separately approved.
Most consent items passed unanimously (5-0). Several items produced follow-up instructions: staff will confirm vendor usage reports for LexisNexis, and pay/allowance items tied to the new records management director will be republished for procedural compliance.
