Commissioners moved to adopt Resolution 2026‑20 supporting the South Dakota Association of County Highway Superintendents' initiative to increase bridge funding; the motion passed unanimously. County officials noted the Nemo Road bridge work and a two‑million‑dollar programmed budget for bridge construction (with grant reimbursement anticipated for a portion of costs). Highway staff will continue to pursue state and federal matching funds for scheduled projects.
