The board approved recommended policy revisions from PRESS Issues 117, 118 and 119 on a motion by Brian Patton, seconded by Kassie Greenwood; the vote was 6-0. Superintendent McBrain addressed questions about the changes and noted that four state-mandated board development trainings are required while additional trainings are optional.
McBrain also outlined that the district is developing a districtwide AI plan, describing it in the context of the policy updates. The minutes do not include text of the policy changes; the board approved the revisions as presented and will implement them per district policy procedures.
