Open enrollment begins Oct. 27; changes take effect Jan. 1, 2026

Larry Kate, a presenter for the session, told benefits administrators that "we're going to start the pres the open enrollment on October 27, and that's gonna run through November 24." He said all changes made during that window "are gonna take effect 01/01/2026."
The presentation reviewed how employees can make changes: via Benefits 24/7 using the open-enrollment wizard or by submitting the 2026 enrollment change form. Administrators were instructed to sign up for GovDelivery so employees receive the ten planned open-enrollment messages beginning Oct. 21. Larry emphasized that paper forms received by administrators should be sent to Navia weekly so the December consolidated report will include all elections and attestation changes.
