Business staff presented the proposed 2025–26 district budget, noting no substantive changes from the prior board presentation and no community questions. The board moved and adopted the district budget by roll call.
On the Education Protection Account (EPA) expenditure plan, business staff said the district receives between $80,000 and $85,000 (calculated at $200 per ADA) and historically applies that money toward teacher salaries. “We get somewhere between 80 and $85,000 for the EPA,” the business presenter said, and the plan for 2025–26 is to pay toward teacher salary costs. The board adopted the EPA expenditure plan by roll call.
Next steps: staff will post required budget and EPA disclosures and incorporate the EPA allocation into payroll and budget reports.
