Departing board member Millward urges the board to use available funds and press for follow-ups

"You've got the ability to actually deploy some resources and do it," Millward said, pointing to a local donor who has provided tens of thousands of dollars in ornament sales proceeds that remain available to the board. He encouraged the board to identify concrete projects to use that money and to set deadlines when staff or contractors promise follow-up so volunteers are not stalled.
Millward also urged the group to reintroduce a demolition-by-neglect ordinance and to engage in Section 106 reviews when appropriate. Board members thanked Millward and said a plaque will be delivered to commemorate his service.
