"There were 4 bids received with the low bid coming in from Sanford Contractors at $264,000, and that the next step was to proceed pending the Town Board's approval," Hollerand said, describing the procurement status. She added the contract would include a 120‑day completion window and that the project must be closed out by the end of June.
Board members discussed next steps for public outreach. A neighborhood meeting was scheduled for Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Coats Chapel to share details with residents and Main Street business owners. The Planning Board did not vote to award the contract; staff characterized the board conversation as informational and said formal action would await Town Board review and approval.
