Bensenville board adopts 2025 limited tax general obligation bond ordinance

Finance staff told trustees that the village issues limited tax general obligation bonds every three years and that a public hearing required by the Bond Issuance Notification Act was held on Dec. 17, 2024 with no objections. Staff distributed an update with results of the bond sale held Jan. 27, 2025 and presented the ordinance for adoption. Trustees approved the ordinance on roll call, authorizing the issuance and sale of the 2025 limited-tax GO bonds to support village financing needs.
"Every three years, the village issues limited tax general obligation bonds," the finance presenter said, and told trustees the ordinance includes the results of the Jan. 27 bond sale. The board approved the ordinance by roll call.
