"This recommendation is to accept a quote from Motorola Solutions in the amount of $81,092.56," said Joe Thomas, identifying himself to the board and asking for approval. Chairman Beatty noted the purchases were contingent on the dollars approved earlier on the consent agenda: "these bid boards are contingent on the dollars that were approved on consent agenda." The board voted to approve the bid-board recommendations during the same motion that included a separate purchase of breathing apparatus cylinders.
