"We have over 11, gaming facilities within, like, a mile of us, and so I don't know if we really need another," Miracle said, urging the board to consider cumulative saturation.
Lee Maracle (self-identified) said wetlands are behind the lot and urged the board to verify any stormwater impacts, noting neighbors worry about increased traffic and property-value effects. The record on file shows the county's stormwater department had no conflicts entered in the record at the time of the hearing.
Neighbors said they would restart petitions opposing similar uses if approved. The board heard the testimony but did not rule; the petitioner responded that the use is low-volume, that parking is shared between tenants, and that stormwater had no comments on file.
