The CRA unveiled a refreshed set of project pages intended to make redevelopment efforts easier to find and track online.
Miss Carney from the CRA marketing team previewed the updated project pages and an activity map that highlights program status, project timelines, impacts and links to applicable Florida statutes. She said the pages will show at-a-glance project snapshots, work plans, galleries and maps and that 27 projects are live on the site now while the team curates the broader inventory of more than 120 CRA projects. Commissioners praised the design and said the pages would help both residents and staff when responding to state reporting requests.
One member of the public urged commissioners to lobby state legislators in Tallahassee to ‘leave us alone’ so local redevelopment can continue, and an attorney from the public (Bruce Strayhorn) reported that a longtime project (project 26) had secured funding and expected groundbreaking within 60 days.
