Councilors asked whether the system would address resident complaints about missed pickups and whether the vendor's use of the term 'AI' was strictly accurate; staff said the vendor's offering was analytics-driven and that the IT department viewed the "AI" label as marketing language. The motion related to Item T was handled on the consent agenda after brief questions and the consent motion passed as part of the larger package, 7–0.
