The council approved pay request No. 11 for $333,692.52 to Building Crafts Incorporated for the WPC grid improvement project and a final pay request of $404,513.96 to RLTman Construction for the Ellis Street second-to-third street concrete reconstruction project. Other items included a $8,400 claim for Scott McLean doing business as MDDS LLC, a $64,319.10 Boswell invoice, and a $1,618,022.07 Board of Public Works claims listing.
"Approval of pay request number 11 in the amount of $333,692.52 to Building Crafts Incorporated for the WPC grid improvement project as recommended by the Board of Public Works," the Chair read aloud during the agenda. A council member noted an abstention on Item G before Mr. McClain moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion carried 7–0.
The consent package also included construction change orders (for example, a decrease of $19,058.82 and final pay request to RLTman Construction) and administrative resolutions covering grant reimbursement requests and IT licensing. Several items on the consent agenda were routine or recommended by the Board of Public Works and were enacted without separate roll-call debate.
Council members will likely see any contested or amended items returned for separate consideration at a future meeting, per standard practice.
