Holiday Hills board OKs up to $3,000 for IT network wiring

The Village of Holiday Hills on March 18 approved spending up to $3,000 to complete network wiring and related equipment for village computers.
President Giles told the board the sewer project is nearly complete and then described the IT need: wiring, switches, a server rack and hard drives. He said labor for wiring and computer setup will be donated and that Realm of Tech will assist with layout and support. Trustee Carol Stingel moved the measure and Trustee Mickey Brown seconded; the vote was unanimous.
The board directed the purchase from the Buildings and Grounds budget. No cameras were included in the purchase at this time, and President Giles said any camera procurement will be considered separately as conditions change.
