They included a tier-1 application for Sunset and State Law at 2058 Cottage Street seeking $22,095.48 (low estimate $29,460.64); Fountain of Grace International at 1702–1704 Fowler requesting $22,334.81 for stucco and rock facing; a small patching/painting request for 1788 Fowler ($3,075 request on a $4,100 estimate); Giorgio’s Elegant Beauty Supplies at 4418 Cleveland (a tier-2 request for $53,268 on a $106,626 estimate); Drew’s West Indian Food at 2968 Cleveland requesting $693.75 to replace signage; and an amendment request for the Post Office Arcade at 1520 Broadway adding gutter, soffit and fascia work with a $32,025 75% request.
Commissioners discussed permitting for signs and historic-preservation coordination for façade work; staff confirmed that reimbursement requires proper permits and final approvals from permitting authorities. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote during the meeting.
