Kenyon-Wanamingo board approves multiple unrequested leaves and nonrenewals

The Kenyon-Wanamingo School District Board of Education voted unanimously to adopt a series of personnel resolutions placing multiple tenured teachers on unrequested leave of absence and to nonrenew several probationary licensed contracts, with the actions recorded by roll call as 7-0.

Member Deb Buchanan introduced several of the motions during the personnel agenda (item 8). "I, Deb Buchanan, introduce the following resolution," she said when moving the acceptances.
