Beth Payne of the Economic Growth Corporation told the council the Shimer Square redevelopment is nearing completion and staff hope to hold an open house in September or October. Applications for the Honey Bee Child Development center are available online.
Susan Peterson, representing the 4 C's daycare operator, described the center's services for up to about 60 children and said hours would be 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for ages six weeks to five years. She said hiring postings are live and the operator is targeting a December or January opening, subject to final approvals and staffing.
