Equipment subcommittee reports apparatus readiness; Truck 27 expected back in May

The Napa County Fire Services Advisory Committee’s Equipment Subcommittee updated the panel on apparatus and equipment status during its April 8 meeting. Brian Ham said the subcommittee met on March 11 and April 8 and reported that “two finalized Type 6’s and the two Type 2’s in production at Golden State” are progressing, and that “Truck 27 should be back from Golden State in May and should shortly go into response.”
The subcommittee also told members it is working on an Elkhart nozzle order, standardizing the rescue chain and ground monitor procedures to ensure consistency across volunteer and career units. No public comment was received on the equipment report.
