Michael Dugan updated the board on several facilities and strategic topics. He said the Roscoe Bridge Project is slated to begin Feb. 2, 2026 (weather permitting) with an expected completion in November 2026 and that district leaders have communicated with neighboring districts and transportation contractor First Student about potential student arrival delays. "Work will begin on February 2, 2026 (weather permitting) and is set to be completed in November 2026," the transcript records.
Dugan also reported plaster remediation is underway, with the district taking approximately three days to complete each classroom. He noted the superintendent-transition schedule and described strategic-plan updates covering academics (including a donated Toyota Sienna for the autoshop and Edmentum renewal), facilities, student experience and a revised SRO agreement discussed under safe learning environment.
The administration asked for continued coordination with neighboring districts and First Student to minimize transportation disruptions during the Roscoe Bridge closure.
