Director Mark Trlak reported "the splash pad was opened yesterday," that RPZ testing is done monthly, and that branch pickup will begin on Mondays in June. He notified the council that 8838 Pulaski "looks terrible" and said crews will clean up the property and pursue a lien. Trlak also reported hydrant repairs (87th and Duffy) and that Nicor will return to finish east-side work; he said the city is "moving all meters out of driveways."
Code Enforcement Director Chris Gatch urged residents to "please call City Hall with any complaints, not Facebook," and council members said they are ticketing dispensary properties and coordinating with Public Works and the Building Commissioner on vacant-house cleanup. The minutes record ongoing coordination but no formal policy vote on enforcement actions at this meeting.
